The American Bully has been specifically bred in the United States since the early 1990s. It was mainly about the display of a calm and balanced being and a typical and strong charisma. This was originally achieved through a strong selection of American Pitbull Terriers and American Staffordshire Terriers.

One of the hallmarks of the American Bully is its even-tempered temperament. These dogs are known for their warm and friendly natures, and they bond closely with their owners. They are usually sociable with people and enjoy company, making them excellent family and family pets. Despite their impressive size, American Bullies tend to be gentle and patient with children, making them excellent playmates.
